Some say that bread was what we humans needed to get on the path towards civilisation. Others say that the catalyst was, in fact, beer. And the ancient tales tend to support the latter idea. So imagine that world exists. It’s a world in which the accidental discovery of beer leads to murder and mayhem, adventure and abundance, and love, lies, and laughter.

An ancient Greek myth retold for our times about connection and interconnection, causes and consequences, life and love, humans and the natural world, and the woman who used needle and thread to challenge the perspectives of the gods. Woven between and around several films from the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival to create a whole new story. Performed in English by South African storyteller Suzanne Whitby, known on stage as Ziyadliwa.
